20four7VA’s The Buffalo City Project is a finalist for the Outsource Accelerator (OA) Outsourcing Impact Awards this 2023. The initiative was shortlisted in the “Outsourcing Impact on Community Building” category, which recognizes companies that have profoundly impacted the communities they serve.

The Buffalo City Project is a partnership between 20four7VA, Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, and the Loomee Group. The initiative serves Buffalo City, an area with high unemployment rates where young women lack job opportunities and face exploitative and unsafe labor practices.

The project aims to empower young women with proper training for remote work and sustainable employment opportunities. The subsidized training helps build the foundational skills these women need to become a virtual assistant (VA) with 20four7VA.

By showcasing efforts such as The Buffalo City Project, the OA Outsourcing Impact Review highlights the transformative power of outsourcing. It celebrates outsourcing companies that inspire change in various ways, including:

• Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

What’s in store?

As a finalist under this category, 20four7VA will be featured in the 2023 Outsourcing Impact Report. The company will also be recognized on the Outsource Accelerator website and other relevant OA platforms.

From the 26 finalists, OA will select four category winners and one overall winner. The results of the 2023 OA Outsourcing Impact Awards will be announced concurrently with the release of the report on October 27th.
