Why did you become a virtual assistant?

Ethel: I had a great career in the airline industry.

My kids are my priority. Being a 20four7VA virtual assistant allowed me the time to watch over my kids while building a career at home.

How did 20four7VA positively impact your life?

I now enjoy more time for myself and my family.

What are your top remote work tips?

• Learn to become a multitasker.  A customer service specialist handles multiple responsibilities. It’s crucial to prioritize each task/project assigned to you and submit everything on time.
• Work with minimal supervision. There is no micromanaging at 20four7VA. Just be responsible and detail-oriented even without regular supervision.
• Build trust with your client. Remote work is all about building a bond of mutual trust. Since your client doesn’t see you in person, they have to trust that you are doing your job well. 

What challenges have you faced working remotely?

Ethel: Setting up your home office can be a challenge. You need to have a quiet space where you can focus and get the job done. Invest in your home office setup!
