What do you do at 20four7VA?

Elise: I’m a VA Profile Specialist at 20four7VA. I create and validate VA packets before they’re sent to clients. I ensure that each VA packet showcases the VA’s skills and strengths so clients can find the best addition to their team. This responsibility requires focus, creativity, and collaboration with my team.

What part of your current role is the most exciting?

Elise: Honestly, everything about my role is exciting! I love seeing each VA packet come together- knowing it could help a VA land a client. Making a direct impact on someone’s life is a truly rewarding feeling. I also find it exciting to collaborate with and learn from my teammates. 

Not to mention, I enjoy the thrill of ticking off tasks and seeing all the completed packets at the end of the day.

How did you hear about 20four7VA, and why did you decide to join us?

Elise: My husband told me about 20four7VA. He encouraged me to apply for the role, and I’m glad I did! I wanted a stable remote setup, and this position turned out to be a great fit for me.

What’s your professional background? What were you doing before you joined 20four7VA?

Elise: I started working in the BPO industry in 2008. Before joining 20fou7VA, I served as a Team Leader for a company based in New Zealand. My past work experience taught me the value of teamwork, patience, and attention to detail. 

What’s your favorite thing about 20four7VA?

Elise: I enjoy the work flexibility here at 20four7VA- this is the work-life balance I’ve dreamed of.

I get to work comfortably from home while being a hands-on mom. I’m really grateful to be part of the 20four7VA family!

What are your top 3 remote work tips?

• You should stay focused to finish tasks on time.
• Keep your workspace organized! A tidy space is the secret to a productive day.
• Find a balance between work and play. It’s not always easy, but it’s the most rewarding part of working from home

What are your top 3 tips for successful remote staffing/outsourcing?

• Set clear expectations and realistic goals early on so that the VA and client are on the same page. 
• Recognize your VA’s efforts, as it really keeps them motivated.
• Give constructive feedback to help your team grow as individuals and remote professionals.

Awesome! What do you do to unwind after work?

Elise: I enjoy a nice cup of coffee ☕I spend quality time with my 2 boys and catch up with friends occasionally. It’s my way of relaxing and recharging after a long day.

What are your hobbies, passions, or interests?

Elise: I love spending time with my family, going to the gym, and watching movies or TV series on Netflix are some of my hobbies. I also enjoy activities that keep me physically and mentally active and stable.

What’s a motto or philosophy you live by?

Elise: “Grace over pressure.” It’s a simple reminder for me to stay calm, trust the process, and handle my responsibilities with grace and class.
