VA Spotlight: Rina

Meet Rina, an administrative assistant VA working with a client in the eCommerce industry for almost two years. Her rich and colorful experience in customer service, fraud detection, order processing, and content creation has molded her into a well-rounded asset to her client and our team.

What difficulties did you experience in your work life before you joined 20four7VA?

Rina: Before joining 20four7VA, I was seeking stability, a consistent income, and opportunities for professional growth. Finding a platform that offered structure and long-term potential was important to me, and I’m glad 20four7VA was able to give me this kind of opportunity.

How did you come across 20four7VA?

Rina: I was referred by my cousin, who also works with 20four7VA. She shared her positive experience with the platform, especially the team support, reliable payments, and professional growth opportunities, which encouraged me to apply as well.

What are your favorite things about working with 20four7VA?

Rina: One of the things that I truly appreciate about working with 20four7VA is the streamlined process. It’s such a relief not having to worry about invoicing, and I’m grateful for the consistent on-time weekly payments. The support from Manager Johan Castro and HR makes me feel secure and valued. 

I also love the specialized training, performance incentives, and performance-based growth reports. It really feels like I’m part of a team that cares about my success.

Are there any areas that we should improve on?

Rina: So far, it’s been a smooth experience. It might be helpful to expand the available training options to include more niche or advanced skill sets.

What are your long-term goals, and how do you see your current role contributing to those goals?

Rina: My long-term goal is to take on a leadership or operations role in the virtual support space. 

My current role helps me sharpen my skills in communication, quality control, and client support- all of which are necessary for my career growth.

What are your top 3 remote work tips?

 Rina:

• Set a dedicated, clutter-free workspace to help you stay focused.
• Use productivity tools like calendars or task managers to stay on track.
• Stay proactive with communication. Clarify expectations early and document updates.

What skill would you want to learn, and why?

Rina: I’d like to advance my skills in Excel and learn more about Google Ads to support data analysis and digital marketing tasks more effectively. 

I also want to gain solid experience in AML to deepen my knowledge in fraud prevention and compliance- these align with my background and future goals.

Rina: Being a VA isn’t a fallback option!

It’s a rewarding profession that requires skills, adaptability, strong communication, and a commitment to excellence. 

Virtual assistants play a key role in helping businesses grow and operate smoothly. With the right mindset and dedication, being a VA can open doors to long-term career growth, leadership opportunities, and the freedom to build a meaningful career remotely or from the comfort of your home.

What do you do to unwind after work?

Rina: After work, I start a sewing project 🧵or take the time to organize my workspace. 

My top WFH self-care tip: Give yourself screen-free breaks throughout the day and create a routine that encourages sufficient rest. A well-rested VA is a very productive one!

I’m truly grateful to be part of 20four7VA!

The support system, well-structured environment, and stable career opportunities have helped me grow professionally and personally. 

I had gained valuable experience, built strong work habits, and found a sense of purpose in this career. Being part of a community that recognizes and nurtures talent is incredibly motivating!
