The Best of Small Business Awards

The Best of Small Business Awards was first established in 2008 by The Small Business Expo. Since then, it has served as both a platform and a spotlight for the backbone of the economy: small- and mid-sized businesses. The annual program recognizes the nation’s top small businesses across 20+ categories, including Start-Up of the Year, Best Non-Profit, SB100, and CEO of the Year.

The Nomination and Selection Process

• Eligible businesses submitted their nominations online through the awards platform on or before October 18, 2025.
• The public voting was held from November 4  through December 6, 2025, 11:59 PM EST.
• This was followed by a final deliberation by the Finalists Judging Committee.
• Winners were publicly announced via email in late December 2025.
