Let’s dive into Pam’s journey with 20four7VA and uncover the secrets to her success!

What do you do at 20four7VA?

Pam: I’m a Client Services Specialist at 20four7VA. The client services team is responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring smooth collaboration between clients and VAs.

What part of your current role is the most exciting?

Pam: The most exciting part of my job is working with different people and helping clients find the right VA for their needs. I also enjoy seeing how my work creates meaningful results and benefits the company.

How did you hear about 20four7VA, and why did you decide to join us?

Pam: I saw 20four7VA on Facebook. I applied first as a VA. I got in and worked with two clients. After a year, I applied for an internal role as a Client Services Specialist—thankfully, I got in!

I joined 20four7VA because working remotely is convenient, and it’s also the perfect place to grow my career.

What’s your professional background? What were you doing before you joined 20four7VA?

Pam: I worked for more than 10 years in the BPO industry. I handled financial accounts, telecommunications, and hotel reservations. I also worked for almost 2 years as a VA for a real estate and SEO company.

What’s your favorite thing about 20four7VA?

Pam: I love the camaraderie and personal growth opportunities.

What are your top 3 remote work tips?

  • Maintain open communication
  • Have a dedicated workspace to stay focused.
  • Plan your day ahead of time and take short breaks to avoid burnout.

What are your top 3 tips for successful remote staffing/outsourcing? (i.e., tips you would give clients)

  • Set clear expectations from the start. Make sure your VA knows exactly what’s expected of them, their role, responsibilities, and how you prefer to communicate.
  • Build trust through regular communication. Check in often to stay aligned, catch any issues early, and keep both sides motivated.
  • Don’t forget to give feedback and recognition. VAs really appreciate knowing how they’re doing, and acknowledging their good work helps build a positive and lasting working relationship.

Awesome! What do you do to unwind after work?

Pam: I sleep—lol! I also binge-watch my favorite K-dramas and spend time with my family. Since our work in the wee hours, I eat HEALTHY and take the necessary vitamins and supplements to stay energized.

Don’t forget to stand up and stretch often because we sit for long hours during our shift.

What are your hobbies, passions, or interests?

Pam: I love cooking, watching K-dramas, and of course… BTS! 💜😄

What’s a motto or philosophy you live by?

Pam: If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal.

Any final thoughts you’d like to share with us today?

Pam: I’m just really grateful to be part of 20four7VA. It’s such a great place to learn, grow, and meet awesome people while working from the comfort of home.
